Hannah Schad '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, My name is Hannah, I’m a 5’9 Defender and I touch 9’4 in the sand. I aspire to play Division 1 beach volleyball in the NCAA on scholarship and more specifically play as a first year freshman. I would love to go to school In California or Florida, places like that, the hotter the better! I am a very determined, driven, and passionate player. When I have a dream or a goal I’m extremley focused on it and will put all the work in to achieve it. Like last year when I built a box jump and trained until my vertical was 4 inches higher. Im also a very good leader. I can lead by example, always doing what’s right and putting in the work to motivate my teammates. I can also communicating clearly, think critically, and problem solve. My biggest dream since I started playing volleyball was to compete in the Olympics and stand on the podium. Ever since I made that decision I‘ve worked extremely hard to build my skills and open up my opportunities. This summer my partner and I won 16U Provincials in Division 1 Tier 1 and I placed second at Nationals in Division 1 Tier 1 with a different partner. The biggest thing I learned this year was how to stay completely positive and encouraging on the court even when my team was not winning. This has been something I have been battling since I started playing volleyball at age 12 and this summer I finally noticed myself doing it while I was playing. I noticed a huge improvement in my play and I had so much more fun!
