Personal Statement

Hi! My name is McKenna and I am searching for a college beach program after competing in indoor for 2 years at Fullerton College.

My teammates like to call me the "Mokry missile" on the court!  I am enthusiastic about the game that I love and show up to practice each day ready to work hard and improve.  I am ambitious, strategic on the court and light-hearted and fun-loving off the court.

Over my COVID-19 college experience, I have learned to balance, studies, work, volleyball, and adjusting to new cities/states. Playing indoor volleyball gave me the chance to get to California on scholarship, and switching to beach volleyball will provide me with the opportunity to play to my full potential for my second half of school.
