After training only six months to a completely new sport, I qualified for USA Diving Junior Nationals in 2018. I was previously a level 10 gymnast training elite. As a gymnast, I trained 40 hours a week and homeschooled for two years in order to achieve my previous dream. From training 7-9 hours of gymnastics a day, I faced overuse injuries and realized that this sport was not suitable for me. However, I still had a passion for an acrobatic sport, so I looked into diving and am very glad with the decision I had made.
It was only my first year of diving, and by attending both zones and nationals my love grew for this sport. I strive to be one of the best, and my four time olympic coach, Scott Reich, says I have very high potential and can eventually become one of the top divers. I have now been diving for about two and a half years, and I am very excited for my diving career and am motivated for whatever is to come.
I am searching for a college that can form me into one of the greatest divers I aim to be. I also value my academics and seek for a good education. I am very supportive towards my current teammates and coaches, and I would love to be a part of a team where I could do the same.
