Hi, my name is Hayley Montague and I am a Senior at Capistrano Valley High school in Mission Viejo California. I have been diving for SoCal Divers under the head coach Scott Reich since I was 10 years old. I have always had two passions in my life, diving and horses. I feel both of my passions keep me focused on my goals of being an Equine Vet or Equine rehabilitation specialist. I am a very hard worker in both diving and in school. In my spare time I volunteer at the Shea Center for therapeutic riding, bringing smiles and laughs to the children. This summer I would like to donate my time at the Red Bucket in Corona to help neglected and abused horses survive and become healthy once again.
I train in all elements of Diving: 1 meter, 3 meter and 10 meter platform. 10 meter is my favorite, because it challenges me in all ways, mentally and physically. I am continuously learning new dives for the 2018 nationals. I pride myself on being nationally ranked since 2012 while qualifying on all three boards each year. One of my highest scoring dives was a front 3.5 on 3 meter in Tucson Arizona for the 2016 USA Diving Zone F meet, receiving 8’s and 9’s across the board.
