Shiori Bak '21 Recruiting Profile

Unlike most divers competing in the Junior Elite stream in Australia I train with a small, local club where I am the only diver competing at this level. I am often told I am a supportive team member and that the younger divers look up to me as a role model.  I love being part of a team, and working with my team mates at supporting every one to do their best, whether it be my club, the state diving team at nationals or the Victorian school team.

My career highlights to date include representing Victoria at Junior Elite Nationals every year since 2014 and representing Diving Australia at the Amsterdam diving cup and the Dresden International Youth Meet in 2016. 

My goals are to achieve my highest possible outcomes both academically and in the diving pool, and to represent my country on senior international teams, and I am prepared to continue to work hard in order to do so.
