Personal Statement
I started gymnastic lessons when I was 2 years old. I loved to do cartwheels, bounce and flip around. At the age of 8, I was at a friend’s pool and thought it would be fun to jump and flip off her diving board. I then joined my local diving team and fell in love with the sport of diving. I have learned so much from the sport, working on a team and working with my coaches. Throughout my diving career, I have been fortunate to attend local, state, national and international events and training camps for AAU and USA Diving.
I live in Marshfield, MA, with my parents, my older sister Samantha and my younger brother Brian. I love animals, I have 2 cats Dillie and Simba and a dog named Midnight. I used to take horseback riding lessons and dressage lessons. I loved riding the horses and learning how to care for them. I competed at local dressage meets.
I am a junior at Marshfield High School. I am on the varsity swim/dive team. Sophomore year, I broke my freshman year 6 dive record. I hold my high school records for 6 and 11 dive.
