Being involved with several school activities has brought me joy and a sense of belonging. As first chair violin player for my school’s philharmonic orchestra program, I have grown as a performer and leader since joining in the 5th grade. Currently, I am serving in my 5th year as a student council representative. Being a leader and voice for my peers has been a passion of mine. I’ve also had the opportunity to volunteer for Special Olympics including being invited for a day long leadership summit.
My academic achievements include being a three-time academic gold all state winner in gymnastics, two-time academic all-state winner in swimming and diving, and I received an academic all-state award in track and field my freshman year. In addition to my academic accolades, my teammates have voted me as most spirited on my gymnastics team and I was voted most improved diver during the 2018 season. In my sports, my goal is to compete to the best of my ability and deliver a great performance. My drive to succeed keeps me going through the ups and downs. I don’t believe in failures, only new opportunities for growth about myself and for the sports I love. Competing at the collegiate level has always been a dream of mine. My dreams challenge me to see past my limits and test the outer reaches of my potential.
