Hi I'm Sanayia Joefield. I'm a junior at Niskayuna high in NY. Sassy Sanayia is the nickname my softball coach gave me. He told me that I always wanted to know the reasoning behind doing what I was told. What he failed to realize at times, that the reason of always asking and seeking, was to help improve my skills so I can better myself. My Dive coaches on the other hand embarrass the fact of me asking and seeking. She said I'm very coachable and that I am always trying to apply what she says and better my dives. This was seen in my recent dive year where I was able to break my high school 6 dives record and 11 dives record. 

            In my future I want to become a civil engineer. This year and in my senior year, I'm taking the classes, intro to engineer, so I can see if that's the path I want to go down. If not engineering then I want to be a Physician or Surgical nurse.

            On my free time I mainly send it playing different sports or hanging with my friends. In the past, I've done 6 sports, a different one each season. I decided to focus my athletic career on diving. I come from a very athletic family, where each of my 6 siblings is engaged in a sport. My parents motivate and supports me to continue reaching higher in both school and diving, but it's up to me to show them how determined I am to be the best that I can be.
