My name is Shannon O’Hara. I am a Junior at Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I was perviously a competitive gymnast for 13 years, reaching level 10. I decided to try diving this past November and after doing so, I gave up gymnastics to pursue diving. I qualified for districts and placed 12th at the 2017 PA District III Championship after just a few months of diving.
I have been coached by Jenine Nicholas of Manheim Township High School whom just recently resigned. The head coach of my school swim team is Dan Graybill. I also dive with the Hershey Diving Club where I have been coached by John Ricci and Jonas Ricci during their winter and summer programs.
School is a priority to me and I enjoy learning. My grade point average is a 3.88 and I have earned honor roll each year of high school. I have also been invited to the National Honor Society. I am a member of Key Club. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends.
My one goal has been to compete at the collegiate level. I feel that I would be a great asset to any team as I am a hardworking, determined and an enthusiastic individual whom is very coachable.
