I am blessed to share that I have committed to University of the Cumberlands Class of 2029. I am no longer seeking recruitment, but want to Thank everyone for the expressed interest, support, time, and shared knowledge during this process.
I have had the privilege to be student athlete majority of my life. I began this opportunity as a gymnast and competitively participated for about 10 years. Throughout this experience I gained knowledge, skills and experiences through many different ways that helped shape who I am today. My time as a gymnast taught many life skills, team bonding and commitment. Additionally, it taught me time management and allowed to later help mentor littles. I enjoyed the sport, but as I approached high school, I became interested in exploring and learning about other sports. The high school dive coach at the time had been eagerly asking me to give diving a try. Honestly, a little hesitate at first as it appeared similar to a sport I was leaving, I finally accepted his offer to try. That moment of the first time on the board was amazing. Diving created a great mixture of my current skills while growing a new set of skills. And that was how it all started. I did not want to stop there, so I also did play volleyball both for high school and club, as well as a long jump athlete for our high school track and field. Four years has past and as I am finishing my senior year, I realize how much I enjoy the sport of diving and do not want to see it end. I am seeking to opportunity to continue the sport, become part of a team and share experiences while achieving academic and athletic goals at the next level. I am passionate about the sport and want to continue to learn while accepting challenges to grow.
