I have been diving since the Fall of 2021, and prior to that, I was part of a JO gymnastics team. After getting injured over and over again, I decided to find a sport that is low impact on my body but still had the flips, twists and turns that excite me. I would love to dive in college because diving has been my get-away place where I can just focus on the rhythm of the springboard, the adrenaline of being in the air and the coolness of the water when breaking the surface.
I am currently a diver at Alpha Diving with previous olympians from Venezuela as my coaches, and I also swim and dive for my high school where I am one of the two Junior Swim & Dive captains for our team.
My dive list:
1m: 103b, 104b (working on 105c), 201b, 203c (working on 203b), 301b, 303c (working on 303b), 304c, 401b, 403c, 5221d (working on 5231d), and 5122d (working on 5132d and 5321d).
3m: 103b, 105b, 203b, 205c, 301b, 303b, 401b, 403b, and 5231d. Working on: 305c and 5132d. Note: I have not competed on 3m yet.
I am a passionate and driven individual who sets high standards for myself in academics, diving, and my social group. I currently hold a 4.00 GPA, I am on track to receive the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, and I am also a Running Start student at a local college. I participate in multiple extra curricular activities that teach me life experiences and allow me to grow as a community leader.
I want to be a lawyer focused on Economics. I want to attend a college where I have the chance to grow as an athlete and develop academically. I am open to any and all pathways that will help me succeed; I want to find the right college match for my academic objectives and my diving goals.
