Cassandra Blevins '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Cassandra Blevins. I am currently a senior attending Pleasant  Grove High School in Elk Grove, California. I have participated in my school's varsity golf team since freshman year. I was an officer for the Community Service Committee for my Biomedical Academy in my junior year. Because of this, I have learned the importance of being a leader and also understanding and encouraging members of my committee to work harder. I started playing golf competitively in my freshman year of high school and in my freshman year on the golf team I didn't have the chance to play in a match. However, during my team's offseason, I put in a tremendous amount of effort into my practice and made it a priority to improve. Because of this, by the time my sophomore season started for my team, I had improved a tremendous amount and was able to play in matches as one of the top six players on my team. Through the years I have grown to be very hardworking and competitive. These qualities allow me to strive to be the best I can be. This benefits me when I need to learn new skills or change small things in my swing. When referring to school I have always valued putting in a great amount of effort into receiving good grades  As an individual, student, and athlete respect towards my teammates, coaches, and teachers is always a top priority. I am looking forward to furthering my athletic and academic career in the future.
