Nora Vinson '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nora Vinson, and I am currently a sophomore in high school. I’ve been playing golf for fun with my family since before I can remember. My grandfather loves golf; so whenever my family would visit him, we’d always go out and play golf.  I love how golf always brings my family together no matter the situation.  I started playing seriously in 7th grade as part of the Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School golf team, and I have been working hard at it since. 

Golf is an escape for me from everything. Even though it can be the most frustrating sport, I believe it helps relieve my stress. One of my favorite things to do is to play in the mornings before school to help wake me up and be ready for afternoon games and practice. I would love to play golf in college. My two main goals are to play college golf and to become some sort of marine scientist.
