My name is Keala Richichi and I am a Junior at Jupiter High School in Jupiter, Florida. I started playing golf when I was ten years old. I have played on the varsity golf team the last three years, and our team has made it to the state championships every year. I play in Florida Junior Tour, South Florida PGA Junior Medalist Tour, and American Junior Golf Association tournaments. I play tournaments between 5,700-6,000 yards. My best tournament score for 18 holes is 71 (-1), which I have shot three times.
While maintaining a 4.69 G.P.A and my academic studies, I practice golf daily as well as working with a golf specific fitness trainer twice a week and regularly working out at a gym. Additionally, I am part of the Evens Scholar and work as a caddie at Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach, Florida on the weekends. I volunteer at the First Tee - Florida Gold Coast where I work with kids as young as five years of age on basic golf skills.
After completing my Bronze and Silver Girl Scout Award, I am currently working on my Girl Scout Gold Award which focuses on golf. that Off the course I enjoy traveling, surfing, and fishing.
My collegiate goals are to play golf for a school with a strong golf program at the highest level where I can learn and grow among my coach and team while obtaining a high quality education.
