My name is Keala Richichi and I am a sophomore at Jupiter High School in Jupiter, Florida. I started playing golf when I was ten years old. I have played on the varsity golf team the last two years, and our team has made it to the state championships both years. I play in Florida Junior Tour, South Florida PGA Junior Medalist Tour, and American Junior Golf Association tournaments. I play tournaments between 5,700-6,000 yards. My best tournament score for 18 holes is 71 (-1), which I have shot three times.
While maintaining a 3.8 G.P.A., I practice golf almost daily as well as working with a golf specific fitness trainer twice a week and regularly working out at a gym. Additionally, I work as a caddie at Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach, Florida and I volunteer at the First Tee - Florida Gold Coast. Off the course I enjoy traveling, surfing, and fishing.
My collegiate goals are to play golf for a school with a strong golf program at the highest level, while obtaining an education and possibly pursuing a business or communications degree.
