Having grown up in Ponte Vedra Beach Florida, I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by the game of golf. I attended my first PLAYERS tournament at only 2 months old. My father was the Chairman of THE PLAYERS in 2007, the year Phil Michelson won the tournament; even at a young age, the excitement around the game of golf was palpable. My father definitely had the biggest influence on my decision to make golf a priority. When I was 12, I hit my very first shot off the tee box at my neighborhood golf course, Marsh Landing, and it was that exact moment I knew I wanted to pursue the game of golf. I played Middle School golf and I was fortunate enough to have my father as head coach. He guided me to assist in my advancement of my skill sets needed for the game. Throughout High School, I have been blessed to be part of the Ponte Vedra High School Girl's Golf team as well as the John Berardi Golf Academy. I have worked hard to be a better player and a great teammate to my team members. I love being on a team of girls always encouraging and supporting one another to be our best. I love the feeling of competing as a team and the feeling of victory when the hard work pays off. I want to continue to be part of a team at the collegiate level where I can continue to improve and contribute to the overall success of my team. In addition to golf, I am involved in my community. I have served as a Standard Bearer to the Players for 5 years. One of my biggest honors was being named 1st Runner Up to Standard Bearer of the Year in 2019. Outside of golf, I serve as Lead Acolyte in my local church, Christ Episcopal Church. I am an active member of The Teen Advisory Board for Community Hospice Pedscare and an Inaugural Charter Member of the Community Hospice Pedscare Chapter at my high school where I serve as secretary. I have served on several Mission Trips through my church, and am part of the Link Crew at school; chosen by teachers to serve as an ambassador for new students upon their entry into the high school. I have also had the opportunity to lead campers at Camp Weed for two summers held at the Episcopal Diocese of Florida in Live Oak, Florida. I know that the these life experiences I have had will prepare me for my college experience. I am excited about the next chapter of life and will strive to be my best self as an athlete and an individual.
