Kelsie Inouye '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Kelsie Inouye and I'm a junior at Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii. I'm currently 17 years old and I plan on majoring in psychology after graduating from high school. I've been golfing since I was seven and I want to play golf at the collegiate level because I love playing the game and competing with my peers, the course, and myself. 

As a freshman, I qualified to play on Punahou's Varsity I Golf Team after winning the Varsity II Championships. After that, I had to work hard to qualify for the state championships. I learned the value of perseverance and practice, and I was fortunate enough to play in the state championship.

As a teammate, I love cheering on my friends and encouraging them to give it their all every day. Forming close connections and long-lasting friendships is one of the most enjoyable aspects of golf to me, and I would enjoy practicing and improving with my future teammates. I am looking forward to playing at the collegiate level in a few years!
