My name is Sarah Bennett. I currently play varsity girls golf for Martinsville High School in Martinsville, Indiana. I started on the varsity team my freshmen, sophomore, and junior seasons. During my junior year, I helped the team win the Indiana Mid-State Conference Championship. Our team also won Sectionals, Regionals, and advanced to the Indiana State Girls Golf Championship where we finished eighth. For my senior year I have been selected as the team Captain. I love the game of golf and it is my dream to continue my education and play golf at the college level. As a golfer, I have an athletic build at 5'8" and 155 pounds. The average distance of my pitching wedge is 115 yards, seven iron 145 yards, and my driving distance average is 250-260 yards.
I am an honor student at Martinsville with a current GPA of 3.9 and my class rank is 23rd of 375 students.
I am looking forward to attending a college that can provide me with a great education and give me the opportunity to play on a quality team oriented golf program. I have a friendly personality and I look forward to speaking with colleges who have an interest in helping me achieve my academic and golf ambitions. I will continue to work hard both athletically and scholastically to meet the goals I have set for myself.
Sincerely,
Sarah Bennett
