Lauren Wood '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Lauren Wood and I currently play for the Blue Valley High Varsity golf team in Overland Park, Kansas. I am a senior with a 4.1 weighted GPA, and I have been on the Principal's Honor Roll the past 4 years. I have been playing golf since I was 8 years old, but I started getting competitive around the age of 14 playing in local tournaments. I played in multiple golf tournaments in past summers including AJGA, KJGA, and KCGA tournaments. I was the 2017 KCJT Girl's Player of the Year. I also placed 4th in the KSHSAA State tournament. I am hard working and I have specific goals in mind and I hope to continue my golf career at the college level. When not golfing, I enjoy traveling and hanging out with friends.
