Sarah Arendsen '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello there. I'm Sarah Arendsen, 5'3", 115 lbs. I really don't see the importance of that for a golf career, but hey as a coach you just might want to know that. This fall I will be a senior in high school. I have played varsity golf at Wayland since my freshman year. During my sophomore year I was one of two people on my team to get a hole in one. I also held the number one spot on the team for the past two years. This past season me and my team qualified for the MHSAA Division 3 State Championship. First time in Wayland history for a whole golf team to go to state. I shot my best eighteen hole score on the first day, an 87. I was a team captain last season as well. I'm also very hard working, both in sports and in academics. As far as location of a school is concerned I would love to stay inside of Michigan. My dream school is small in class sizes, high academic levels, and division two or lower. It would also be a Christian institution where I can further my walk with Christ. My desired major is Chemistry or Biochemistry, but ultimately I will be going on to Pharmacology school. Athletically I would love to play my freshman year and division level doesn't really matter. What really matters to me is that I like the college that I end up going to.
