Emma Davies '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Emma Davies. I am currently a Junior at Eden Prairie High School in Minnesota. I am looking for a school in the midwest that has a great business department. I would like to play for a college team that is competitive but also a  family at the end of the day. 

I will bring a very competitive and hardworking attitude to your team. Along with being a loyal player willing to do anything for the team, I am also the captain of the EPHS Girls Golf team. Since the high school season was canceled last year due to covid, I was not able to play high school golf my sophomore year.  I was a key player for EPHS’s team during my 8th grade and freshman year.  During my freshman year, I earned all conference honorable mention along with qualifying as an individual to play in the Minnesota state high school tournament where I placed 31st overall. Since my freshman year I have put a tremendous amount of time into my game and I can not wait to display it this coming spring golf season. 

Even though my sophomore high school golf season was cancelled, I was still able to play in many MN Jr PGA tournaments throughout the summer of 2020. I’m very proud to have scored my lowest round this past summer during a Jr PGA tournament.  I shot a 70 (even par) at Indian Hills GC in Stillwater, MN. I’ve continued to ramp up my tournament playing by participating in Hurricane Tour Tournaments; including a 2-day tournament in Kiawah Island, SC in January 2021 where I earned the 1st place trophy in the girls 14-18 division.

Along with golf I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. I have played competitive soccer since I was in 4th grade. I currently play on the EPSC (Eden Prairie Soccer Club) top girls team; U17 premier 2. I love hanging out with these girls since I have played with most of them since elementary school. I think soccer, along with golf has really shaped me into who I am today.
