My name is Kelby Anderson and I just finished my junior year at Falls High School in International Falls, MN. One of my goals is to play college golf at the highest competitive level that I can. Being from a city located on the US-Canadian border, I have been limited by weather and short golf seasons. Because of this, I think that can be an asset to any program as I believe my growth potential is huge. The ability to play and work on my golf game over a longer golf season makes me a unique recruit. I am willing to consider a college/university no matter the location as long as I have the opportunity to play college golf and develop to my full potential.
Currently, I have a 3.9+ GPA. I am member of my school's Executive Board for Student Council, am a member of the Minnesota Honor Society/National Honor Society, and an editor of my school's yearbook. I work weekly with a PGA professional (Tom O'Connell) and have started a strength-conditioning program with a Titlelist Performance trainer (Christin Thomson).
I am competitive and a hard worker and ultimately, I want to surround myself with others that have a similar work ethic and desire to be the best. Being a member of a team is very important to me as I continue the process of looking at schools. This summer and fall I have a number of PGA Junior events and Hurricane Junior events scheduled in Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois.
