I started playing softball in kindergarten. I played softball competitively for seven years. Towards the end I realized I wasn’t having any fun with the sport. I decided to try golf in 2017 and instantly fell in love with the sport. It was one of the best decisions I have made. I enjoy all aspects of the game, that it is mental and that you can always learn something about your game. Whether I have a great round or a challenging round, there is work to be done.
I look forward to continuing to grow in my game and explore playing in college. It is exciting to have played about 4 years and to have the success that I have had so far. I work on my game year around. I have joined AJGA and plan to play both local and travel tournaments in the spring/summer. I am currently working with my private coach to maintain my mechanics and a private trainer to work on my balance/fitness. One of my favorite parts is that golf is a lifelong sport that I can always play.
I also participate in Student council, class leadership, and am a freshman mentor. I get such amazing leadership knowledge and experiences that I can bring into college. I fit in well almost everywhere and I always know when to roll with the punches. I work hard and am dedicated to improving my game. I am just looking for a fun competitive team that can support each other in an individual sport like teams in soccer, softball, and even tennis.
