Cecelia Neally '16 Recruiting Profile

I began golfing when I was very young just with my family but I never became serious about it until I began taking classes with the first tee where I met the coach of my high school golf team. One of the coaches of the camp was the coach of our high school golf team and he had come up to me the summer before my 8th grade year and told me that he wanted me to tryout for his team once I got to high school. Little did I know, my high school, Corning Painted Post High School only has a boys team. I have played a total of three years now on the boys golf team, I play the same distances as them meaning I play the men's tee's which I feel has given me an advantage on many other girls because I've had to push myself so hard already to play the distances the boys do.
