I began golfing three months before my freshman golf season. Prior to golf I played basketball, volleyball, and softball. I was able to pick up golf fairly quickly and made varsity my freshman year. Each year my golf game improved because of my hard work year around and my difficult decision to drop my other sports to focus on golf. I learned how to be a leader, how to be the hardest worker, and how to take direction and criticism from growing up playing team sports. Those three qualities and my work ethic make me a great candidate for your golf team. I am extremely competitive and hope to make the years I golf in college the best years of myself and the school. In the classroom, work does not come easy to me, but with the same work ethic as I have on the coarse I am able to stay towards the top of my class. I know my best years of golf are ahead of me and I hope you choose to have me on your team.
