Personal Statement
Winning the 1st Tee of Pittsburgh's 2016 Fall Invitational gave me the confidence I needed to play at a high school level. Over the past couple of years, I feel I have grown as a player and learned how to focus more on golf itself. Golf has taught me a lot of things about myself, but the most important thing is that I can overcome any obstacle that is put in my way. I started playing golf at seven years old through the 1st Tee of Pittsburgh.
This year in high school I'm more focused and I'm ready to do a lot of hard work to achieve getting good grades this year. At the end of my Freshmen year my grandfather past away and a few months later my father lost his job. With these things that happened to me, they made me want to make my grandfather proud and work more for scholarships so my family doesn't have to worry about my college tuition.
