I started my golf journey when I was 5 years old and since then the golf course has always been my happy place. I don't think I could even imagine what my life would be like without golf. I aspire to attend college and earn a degree in psychology while playing competitive golf at the collegiate level.
I have always been a determined and hard-working person on and off the golf course. Once I started playing golf, I became fully devoted to the game, by putting one hundred percent of my effort to learning of how to be successful in this game. As a person who loves to be active, I love practicing on my game, playing rounds, and working out in order to grow my golf abilities as well as my confidence in my game.
Academically, I love learning and going to school which helps me maintain good grades and a high GPA. Personally, academics is just as important as golf and I always put the same amount of work into school as I do in golf. Outside of school and golf I make sure to give back to the people and programs that have helped propel me to success in my golf journey. On the weekends, I volunteer for classes and camps at the First Tee of Greater Austin where I get to teach young kids the game that changed my life for the better.
This is my third year as a Vandegrift varsity and a top 5 player, and my goal is to help my team earn the UIL State Championship title for the first time.
