Megan Schultz '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior at Westlake high school and a captain on the women’s varsity golf team. I played varsity basketball and golf my freshman year before beginning to focus exclusively on golf as a sophomore . I grew up playing competitive golf from the ages of 4 to 11 and then focused on basketball exclusively for three years. By the age of 11, I had won 60 Junior Golf tournaments and finished in the top 25 in the USKG world championships at Pinehurst. One of my more  prestigious wins was the Starburst junior golf classic in Waco Texas. 

Since focusing on golf I have seen my tournament scoring average drop from the low 80s to the mid 70s in a little over a year. My goal is to bring that scoring average down below par in the next year and help my team win its 5th UIL state championship.
