The possibility of competing at a collegiate level, in a sport that I have been perfecting since I was a young girl, has always been my passion. In my high school I have always looked to be a leader in all things I set out to do. Everyday, I try to do the best I can mentally, physically and spiritually. I have surrounded myself with the people, and tools to accomplish great things. I have been fortunate to work with the best and have the support system to help me get there. I would like to belong to a collegiate group that will allow me to continue to strive to be better at golf and as a person, while getting a good education to further my future.
My favorite moment so far in my career as a golfer happened this year. It was the first day of District when I helped our team advance to regionals by shooting a personal best of 75. We went on to take second place at Regionals and for the first time in Burnet High School history we advanced to the 4A State Tournament. While at the State Tournament our team placed 6th out of the final 12 teams. My strong points in golf are my Distance off the Tee box and putting. What makes me a good candidate for your team is I bring experience, leadership and am a team player. I am honest, passionate, dedicated, and driven. I dedicate myself to high standards on my academics, and strive to stay true to myself, my teammates, family and my college.
