Morgan Ankenbrandt '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches, My name is Morgan Ankenbrandt, and I am in the graduating class of 2023. I have been involved in the game of golf for most of my life because of my family's golf background. As a kid, I was always hanging out at the course with my dad who is a golf professional. I started playing golf at a very young age, and the love of the game has only developed more since then.   I am very interested in continuing my golf career into college. I have been on the varsity team since my freshmen year, and I have loved the team aspect of playing high school golf.  I believe I have made some lifelong friends through golf and want to continue into college and make friends I will never forget while still competing at a high level. I am very engaged in my academics and believe academics are very important. In result of this I have taken advanced courses throughout high school and have done well in these classes. I have experience in many other sports including playing club lacrosse for 7 years and playing AAU basketball throughout middle school. Playing these other sports has made me very competitive and shown me how to handle pressure and how to work through the ups and downs that sports have. I am willing to work hard to ensure  my success and the overall success of the team. I would love to talk and discuss how I could fit into your team. Thank you.
