I first picked up a golf club around the age of 7 and instantly fell in love with the game. However, I didn’t start playing competitively until my freshman year of highschool and although that is later than most I am still chasing my dream of playing in college. My golf game has evolved very quickly, and although I have a lot of development left to do, I am now confident that I can compete at any level if I put my mind to it.
My golf journey started with scores in the 100’s and the 90's and have now dropped to consistent rounds in the low 80’s and mid 70's and are continuing to improve. My goal is to compete in college and to win. My strengths on the course are my length and my short game. I am long off the tee and am comfortable on courses around 6400 yards.
In all areas of my life, I have always strived to be the best I can be in whatever I do. I have always focused on my education and maintained an A average throughout my years in school. I also stayed involved in school activities such as student council, national honor society, science club, fellowship of christan athletes, and falcon friends, a club where we support and help out children with special needs. Outside of school, I believe in being involved with activities that give back to the community. I am a youth ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or JDRF, I participate in activities such as speaking engagements, educational activities, and fundraising. I also am a Camp Sweeney ambassador, a summer camp for children with Type One Diabetes, I visit hospitals in the Dallas/ FortWorth area and speak on behalf of Camp Sweeney.
