Laney Wright '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Laney Wright. I've grown up in the small town of Mount Vernon, Texas all my life. My family has pictures all over the house of me playing golf when I was just a toddler. I have grown up on the golf course. I really enjoy the fact that golf is more on the independent side of athletics. I know I would be a good fit for your college because I am a very competitive athlete. I love to learn new skills and drills when it comes to golf. I am a very coachable athlete. I love helping my teammates out. The past three years of my high school golf career I have taught multiple players how to play golf. I am a motivated player and would love to be able to extend my golf career into the college category.  One of the only things I put before golf is my academic grades. I have always been very strict on myself when it comes to my grades. I will continue to have this mindset while playing college golf.
