Over the course of my golf career, I have made significant improvements in my game, with each year showing a steady decline in my average scores. When I first started, I struggled with consistency, but through persistent dedication, regular practice, and a desire to improve, I was able to lower my average scores each year. I play in one of the most competitive districts in all of Texas that includes Allen HS, Prosper HS and Plano West HS. This stiff competition along with playing in local North Texas Jr. PGA tournaments has pushed me to become better.
I take great pride in my work ethic and my steady progression on the course reflects my resiliency, passion and competitiveness. Through hard work and dedication, I won the Junior Club Championship at Gentle Creek Country Club with a score of 74 and 72 for a combined total of 146.
As a player, I am deeply focused on the mental aspect of golf. I believe the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure is my greatest attribute. I’ve made it a point to strengthen this part of my game through mindfulness and visualization techniques. This has helped me to not only become more consistent in my performance but also to maintain a positive attitude, whether I’m playing well or facing challenges.
There is still room for improvement in my game and I believe with the right coaching I can continue to become a better golfer. As I learn to navigate through a course and make mindful decisions on shot selection and learn to adjust my shots based on course conditions it will reflect in my scores. I'm looking for a program to take my game to the next level and I feel I would be a great addition to a golf program looking for a great teammate.
