One thing I have always known about myself is that I want to go as far in my academic studies as I can. I have a passion for learning and want to continue studying and learning in college(and after) not to just get a degree but also because of the love I have for knowledge. Another thing I have known since age 10 is that I love golf. The golf course is where I go to relieve stress and also to just feel alive. I believe that I play the hardest game in the world but I wouldn't want it any other way. With golf the challenge never ends! I moved from Australia a few years ago and fell in love with the game about a year before we left. I loved that as an 11 year old girl I could play weekly competitions with people of all ages and thus fell in love with the social aspect of the game. It wasn't until we moved here and I started playing more competitively that I fell in love with the technical and competitive part of the game. I have played multiple sports in school and love competing. I enjoy singing and am the lead vocalist for our school's advanced jazz band and also enjoy playing my guitar and writing music. I have a desire to tell the stories about people that will inspire and help in a time of sometimes unrelenting negativity, hence my desire to study journalism. I work hard, love life and always want to improve by being humble and very coach-able. I enjoy being part of a team and cannot wait to start my college athletics journey and see how much progression I can achieve.
