Hello! My name is CB (nickname), and I am currently 17. I have played golf since I was a toddler and started playing competitively in high school. Starting in 2020, freshman year I made the varsity team, as well as went to the State Division 1 Championship and placed fourth. In the summer of 2021, I went to the PGA High School Golf National Invitational at Pinehurst in North Carolina. With a three-day competition and multiple courses played at Pinehurst National, this tournament gave me a grasp on competitive golf on another level. I am also consistently embracing the short-lived golf season we have in Vermont, by trying to get as much practice on indoor simulators as possible. I have also been on Varsity lacrosse for three years while playing club soccer for 8 years, and my training in those sports has helped my overall strength and endurance as an athlete. In addition, I am working on a personal project focused on teaching youth in the community about golf. I am constantly working on balancing my sports while working to raise my grades throughout the school year. I find the challenge exciting, and I thrive when there is pressure to do well in a situation.
