What does golf mean to me? Well golf is a lifestyle, challenging you to push yourself, and is my passion. But that's not all golf is. It is a sport that you can play for a lifetime and that love will never fade away. I started playing golf my freshman year and fell in love with it. I started to realize that out of my sports this is the one that I want to continue outside of high school. This is why I'm here now on this site. I'm ready for the next step in life which for me looks like playing golf in college. To become a good golfer and improve like I want to; I need to be coachable, work hard, challenge myself and push myself in all aspects. For example, after practice I will go out and play or go back to the range to work on what I was struggling on. All my hard work is paying off for me so far, my stats have dropped dramatically since freshman year. I'm not done, my best golf is still ahead of me. Golf is not just important, so are my academics. Throughout high school I have been able to jungle three sports, AAU basketball and still find time to practice extra golf. I have had to work twice as hard as my peers, because I struggle in school. However, that doesn't stop me. I still get good grades and manage all my work on top of playing golf. I'm ready to work even harder and ready to face the challenges that come with playing college golf.
