I have been a gymnast since I was 3 years old. I began with recreational, then at the age of 9 I was invited to team. Everyone instantly saw my potential. I haven't always dreamed of being a college athlete, there were many days I wanted to quit. My parents and coaches always talked me out of it. They told me I would regret it. Looking back, I know they were right. This sport is hard. It takes grit. But I love it. I love mastering a new skill. I love the challenge it gives me. I love being covered in chalk and working hard and giving it all on competition day. This sport has taught me so much and for that I am grateful.
I want to pursue a career in nursing, specifically travel nursing. I am a perfect mixture of tough and compassionate that I think will serve well in that career field.
Outside of school and gymnastics, I enjoy singing and playing guitar and hanging out with my friends at the beach.
