Throughout my gymnastics career I have not only grown as a gymnast, but as a person as well. Breaking my ankle and foot at the beginning of winter, in my Sophomore year of high school, was a huge milestone for me to overcome not only physically but also mentally. Despite my injury, I continued to go to every practice and meet to support my teammates. I was fortunate enough to be able to compete in states and regionals as an xcel sapphire last season after breaking my foot and placing 3rd on bars in regionals. I was also fortunate enough to be able to grow as a gymnast at O’Leary’s Gymnastics Center from the age of six years old in such a caring and nice environment which I label as my second home. I am a student athlete who plays 3 sports in highschool on top of club gymnastics and my program at O’Leary’s is very flexible with my doings and is always so supportive of my achievements.
