Since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be a collegiate gymnast and compete on a NCAA floor. I started mommy and me classes when I was two years old, and immediately fell in love with jumping on the trampoline and flipping anywhere I could. This lead me to continue to take more advanced classes and start competing at age eleven. Although I had a later start than most gymnasts, I kept focused and pushed myself to reach the goals I had made. Gymnastics has taught me about discipline, sacrifice, commitment, and teamwork. My teammates are some of my closest friends, and I consider them to be like family.
Some of the most significant years in my athletic career was during Covid, which helped me grow and mature both as a person and as a gymnast. I began to take my goals and the sport extremely seriously, always pushing myself to get stronger and more confident. I am willing to put in the time and work necessary to one day become a collegiate athlete because I have a great desire to develop my skills and achieve success. I will be a great addition to a college team because of my leadership, determination, and resilience in both athletics and academics. My dream once I graduate from college is to open and manage my own gymnastics club gym so that I can teach and train athletes to compete at top levels, just like I want to!
