My name is Gianna Desmarais, and I’ve been involved in gymnastics since I was three years old. Over the years, gymnastics has become a part of who I am, pushing me to constantly challenge myself and strive to be a better person. I’ve always dreamed of competing at the college level, and that dream has kept me motivated through countless hours of training, injuries, ups and downs, and hard work. Right now, my main focus is maintaining honor roll and becoming a better gymnast. One thing that sets me apart is my attitude and dedication to this sport. I always give my best and am there for every one of my teammates, even when things get tough. I’m not afraid to keep working until I see improvement, whether that involves trying new skills or competing in new events. Although it’s hard to balance school and gymnastics, the experience has taught me how to prioritize, stay disciplined, and keep pushing forward no matter the obstacles.
