I was first introduced to gymnastics around the age of two, and I joined team at the age of 6, so I have been doing competitive gymnastics for the past 8 years of my life. I went to public school from 8am- 3:15pm then straight to gym from 4-8 then a 40 min drive home. This took a lot out of me especially as a elementary school kid but it taught me grit and that things don't always come easily. 3 years ago I moved gyms and started online school which I loved because I could spend 26 hours a week in the gym. While being homeschooled I learned self-discipline and persistence. I made the hard decision this past year to go back to school for my freshman year of high school. It has been such an adjustment with balancing school, gym, and friends but it has been so fun and I wouldn't change a thing. I'm a hard working student that wants to pursue a degree in the medical field. I would like to attend a university that will help me reach my academic goals, while doing the sport I love. I would bring leader ship and determination to any team I join.
