I have spent countless hours training, honing my skills, and learning the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. I am eager to bring my skills, commitment, and enthusiasm to a gymnastic, acrobatics & Tumbling or STUNT program while pursuing my academic goals.
Gymnastics has been a part of my life since I was six years old, and it has shaped who I am both on and off the mat. Through my years of training and competition, I have learned to set goals, work hard to achieve them, and overcome challenges along the way. Gymnastics has taught me valuable life lessons—such as focus, and determination—that will serve me well.
In my 12 years as a competitive gymnast, I have advanced to Level 8 which I am currently competing at and have competing at several major competitions including the Kim Zmeskal's Texas Prime Meet, Biles Invitation, and the Metroplex Challenge. I have qualified for the Texas State Championship meet seven times and the USAG Region 3 Championship two times. In 2023, I won state champion on the floor and placed third on vault and followed that up by winning the regional champion on vault and placed third on floor. These experiences have fueled my desire to continue competing at the college level, where I can challenge myself and grow as an athlete.
What excites me about joining a college team is the opportunity to train with other athletes who share my love for gymnastics, tumbling, or STUNT while benefiting from the experience of coaches who have competed on the college level. I am eager to contribute to my team and represent it and my university in competition. I believe my strength, willingness to push myself, and genuine love for my teammates and coaches will make me a valuable addition to any program.
In addition to my athletic ambitions, I am also committed to pursuing a degree in biology with a pre-veterinarian focus or in animal science that will propel me to my goal of attending veterinarian school. I am looking for a college or university that offers me an ideal environment where I excel on the competition floor, but, most importantly, in the classroom. The combination of a competitive program and a strong academic curriculum is perfect for me. I am excited about the prospect of contributing to a team’s success while preparing for my future career.
