As a young girl my aspiration in life is to go to a college where I can play competitive hockey and be a role model, a leader, have a positive attitude on and off the ice, and show the dedication that I have for my team and school. I would like to pursue a career in business management and/or exercise science.
I work hard year round both on and off the ice to make myself and my teammates the best that we can be. I play with my heart and will demonstrate tenacity with every shift that I take. I have learned from my years of playing with boys and girls that this is a team sport and I am fighting for my team and myself. I first started playing roller hockey when I was 4 years old, then I moved onto ice and at that moment I knew that this was the right sport for me. I developed greatly as a player playing with higher division boys and I just enjoy the competitive aspect that that game of hockey created for me. I will never give up. I am so passionate about being great, if we're down 5-0 I will still give it my all. I desire to succeed and I like to see my teammates succeed as well.
As a student and a player I show a great deal of effort in the classroom and on the ice. At school I am well-known to my teachers and councilors which makes me motivated to better myself as a person and on my education. In academics I am in AP and Honor classes. I like to organize things and plan ahead, I take my time balancing my fitness and health with my academic achievements. I am a smart player, I play with patience. I understand the game and will create plays that the coach discussed during practice. Hockey brings me so much bliss and happiness that I am willing to commit myself to it.
I am a ambitious person with high will power and I am excited to see where life takes me.
