Abigail Benjamin '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abby Benjamin and I am jersey number 13 for the U19 Team Illinois AAA hockey club. As a 2021 graduate, I am entering my third year with this team.  I’m super excited to continue to develop at the AAA level with great coaches again this year. I believe that my strengths include my aggressive play, positioning, and skating abilities. Part of the reason I love hockey so much is because I get to perform individually but can also be part of a team. Hockey has been pivotal in teaching me that hard work pays off, and this definitely carries over to my schoolwork. I go to Adlai E. Stevenson High School, and succeeding there is my number one priority as I hope to pursue a pre-med track in college. I’m focused on finding the right university/college that combines playing great hockey while challenging me academically.
