NOTE: I’m already committed to Bowling Green State University for Fall 2023. NCSA has been notified of this, and perhaps because they do not have BGSU listed in their database of ACHA D2 teams, they have not updated my account to reflect this.
I'm Addie Erdman. I'm a junior at Dulaney High School in Maryland, and I play two sports; I play defense in ice hockey, and I'm a goalie in field hockey.
I'm currently on three ice hockey teams.
- My travel club is the Girls AA (Tier 2) Philadelphia Little Flyers 16U. This is my second year with the Little Flyers, and it's a great group of people.
- I play in the Girls Maryland State Hockey League (MSHL) on the North Eastern team as well. We finished second place in the league's first season and won the league title last year.
- I also play for Dulaney High School's co-ed varsity team (though we didn't have a season in 2020 because of the corona virus). I'll be returning to that team this coming season.
Previously, I've played forward and defense for the Baltimore Stars (Baltimore Youth Hockey Club) since I was twelve years old. In 2019, our U14 team won the Pony Tail Tournament championship.
I take off-ice training two nights each week to help build my speed, strength and endurance.
I'm also an identical twin (my sister, Alex, is an ice hockey goalie).
For college, I'm looking for a small-to-medium sized school, preferably in a suburban or rural setting, with strong academics, experience supporting scholar-athletes, and a beautiful campus that is welcoming and makes me feel at home. Most importantly, I'm looking for a team of hard working but fun teammates who like to win, have a sense of humor and love playing ice hockey as much as I do.
