Personal Statement
I began playing hockey when I was 5 years old and I'm now looking forward to starting my college hockey career. My goals and aspirations are to excel at a college that is a good fit both academically and athletically and be prepared for a successful career. My freshman year on Natick High School Girls Varsity Team was an awesome experience winning lots of ice time and helping my team make it to the Final Four. During my sophomore year, due to our team’s need for my speed, my coach switched me from playing center to defense. I grew to love playing defense as much as I love playing center. What makes me different from other recruits is that I have true grit which empowers me to always do my best to study for every class, and exam as well as work hard at every practice and every shift in the game. I work very hard to always improve at everything that I do. I am an excellent recruit for your team as a versatile player with strong endurance who takes responsibility for the game using good vision on the ice to make key passes that develop plays and goals.
