Hi my name is Kat Precobb and I have been playing hockey since I was 9 years old. Currently, I am high school senior at King Philip Regional High School where I am a varsity hockey captain for the girl's team. I played for the Spitfires for 5 years and recently switched to the Minuteman Lady Flames program where I will be playing for their u19 major 2 team. For the past 2 summers I played for the WC Swans tournament team. My playing style consists of digging pucks out of corners, moving the puck , playing the body, and battling in front of the net. I am the kind of player that will never give up and I will continue to play my hardest no matter what the score is. I commit to my team and I always show up. Last year my high school coach needed a defensemen and even though I am a forward at heart I buckled down and played the position for the majority of my junior year. I either started or was 2nd line for the year. I think that shows my dedication to my team and how far I am willing to go to be whatever my team needs.
Not only am I a captain of the girls varsity hockey team, I am also a captain of the girls varsity cross country team. My freshman year of high school I received the rookie of the year award in hockey, my sophomore year I received the unsung hero award for cross country, and most recently in my junior year I received the coach's award for hockey. I plan to get my bachelors in business and along with that get my cosmetology license so that in the future I can build up to starting my own business in cosmetology once I have proper experience.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
