2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Maya Stringer, I did freshman year at an online school called Fusion Global Academy, and I transferred to one of the best public schools in the state, Baltimore City College High School. I am 140lbs, 5’4” barefoot and 5’7” in skates.
I became interested in hockey and did learn to play's when I was 5 and joined the Baltimore Stars in 2018, when I was 9 and I played there through the 2024/5 season. This season I will be playing for the Tri-City Eagles 19U AA team and I’m very excited for this new challenge.
I’m in Scouting America (formerly the Boy Scouts) troop 635 in Baltimore, Maryland, I’m a life rank scout and on track to get Eagle Scout when I’m 16. I am also in scoutings national honor society as an ordeal member and intend on working my way up. I am a very dedicated person. If I want to do something, I will make it happen.
