My name is Emma Walters, a skilled hockey player from Traverse City, Michigan. Throughout my career, I've played at the AA and AAA levels in Michigan, most recently with the Grand Rapids Griffins. Despite the challenges of playing at a high level in the Detroit area, my success is attributed to my unwavering work ethic, development, and commitment to excellence, which are the driving forces behind my goal to play top-level college hockey.
My parents and coaches have been my pillars of support, helping me overcome injuries and the distance from my team. I am confident that my ability to listen well and put my thoughts into action makes me an ideal candidate for any organization seeking an exceptional player. Scoring goals isn't my only priority; I relish the challenge of facing adversity head-on and emerging victorious. My strong moral compass and exceptional game-reading skills make me a valuable player to have on the team.
While hockey is a significant part of my life, I'm equally passionate about pursuing aeronautical and aerospace studies in college. I am determined to excel as a hockey player while maintaining my independence and dedication to learning outside of the rink.
