Personal Statement

My name is Mystique Baron, but my nickname Tiki is often what people call me. I have been playing hockey since I was little and used to figure skateMy strongest strength is my skating ability. I am quick on my feet and use my advanced edge work to my advantage. I am well rounded with my capability to play all positions, but I prefer center. I'm the type of player to fill in spots when needed and I transition quickly between offense and defense. I take pride in my ability to find space, stay positive and the precision of my passes. I like being challenged and shown new ways to improve my hockey IQ as well as my physical and mental strength.

School is an important thing for me, I have been doing full time PSEO since my Jr year. Doing PSEO allows me to get college credit while also completing my required high school credit by taking classes at ARCC. I will have all but one goal complete from The Minnesota Transfer Curriculum generals completed by this semester with 48 college credits total. I want to go to a college that is part of that program to save both money and time.
