Madelyn Tinkle '24 Recruiting Profile

My favorite thing about playing hockey is the community! High school hockey is a great way to meet new people and grow yourself in both athletics and character. My strengths include fantastic puck placement when passing and the ability to see the entire ice, while make quick decisions. In the offensive zone I am great at holding the zone and joining the play to create scoring opportunities for my team. I am a very strong skater and am able to get up and down the ice efficiently. I am very good on my edges and have quick feet. I don't let my size affect my play due to my strength on my skates.  In the off season I play Varsity Lacrosse.  I enjoy off ice training and playing in numerous different hockey programs that keep me skating all year.  I am looking forward to playing for a college team and obtaining a great education.
